i'm an artist. i dream to build you a photo gallery that feels like walking through an art gallery with your love, full of memories captured honestly, imperfectly. i grew up excited for the art museum class trips and tend to be the last one out of the exhibit (unless i'm with my husbands family, they take even longer than me!)

i've spent almost a decade behind the camera. while growing up in colorado i started my career knowing weddings were something special. from weddings on the west coast to east, texas and over to europe. i spend a lot of time at airport cafes and know a few southwest flight attendants by name.

i find so much joy in the little moments of a wedding day and a love story. all the old traditions, the new creative ideas, every bit gets me giddy. if i wasn't a wedding photographer i'd be a planner or florist. i get excited over every detail!

my approach

i know life, and weddings, are imperfect. i tried to take flawless instagram filtered wedding photos and never felt like i was telling the whole story.

while i love a golden light portrait session and giggle when i find the perfect setup for a detail shot, as a wedding photographer i know i have a responsibility to do more. to capture the traditional and beautiful images you'll frame for your home, and also capture the moments you'll open up your album to every time to remember the tears walking down the aisle, the pup who stepped on your dress, and that moment you switched to flats during the reception.

you are taking the time to have a day tailored to your personalities and desires as a couple, and i spend the time to educate and share all my knowledge from the start to help you spend that day in joy, capturing it all honestly and through images that bring back those memories for decades to come.

i love everything about weddings, and cry at father daughter dances, always eat a slice of cake, and boogie on the dance floor alongside you and your guests. i love the moments happening between the small and big, the giggles between flower girls and hugs with friends at cocktail hour. i want to help you remember the real moments from your day along with the beautiful. you deserve images that help you remember all your hard work in planning, and see the moments you may have even missed while tearing up the dance floor.
