i am so incredibly excited to share this wedding today! this was the first wedding of 2020 and it started the year out so incredibly well!! anna+daniel tied the knot at the beautiful savior church in la vista, nebraska a lil town next to omaha! their first look was down the aisle, and was full of sweet and joyful tears (or was that just me?!) because i think these two were giggly and laughing from the second they were brought back together! mr. and mrs. duhacek made it official on february 1st 2020! a few words were said about how these cuties met, in anna’s words “bbq. husker football. bonfire. enough said.”
the whole day markie and i just kept saying, my goodness today is so organized and calm! these two were just so happy to be sharing their day with their family and friends that there wasn’t one bit of stress or nerves in the place, just pure joy. luckily they opted for a first look and all their formal photos inside their church, which made the day a breeze and so organized! they had 2 hours on their party bus on the way to the reception at scott conference center and during our timeline planning meeting we organized their day so well i don’t think one thing ran behind! it was a dream, the way wedding should go!
one of my very favorite details of this wedding day was the florals! tied and true did an outstanding job creating something unique and warm for anna, it was exactly what she was going for and it was so great photographing and looking at such fun florals all day!
for a february wedding in nebraska, it was incredibly warm! i think we hit 50 degrees and most of the snow melted, luckily we caught some patches for somebody bridal party and couples photos but sheesh we couldn’t have asked for better weather! these two danced the night away and made sure to end it all with a sparkler exit!! it was terrific, and the most perfect start to the season and i am so thankful to have captured anna+daniels wedding day!!
these two had an absolute blast of a reception! this wedding was where i learned what “the carp” was – i heard some girls talking about it on their party bus and was so confused until i saw people flopping around on the dancefloor and it all made sense!! these two know how to have fun, and so do their family and friends!
