goodness all the excitement and emotion from this amazing day flows right back to me as i share these images! britany + kyle had a really spectacular wedding. seriously, they knew they wanted a wedding day unique and unlike any other, and they really made it happen!! from the day i met this sweet couple for coffee in denver i knew they were going to have a special day, they wanted everyone in attendance to be taken care of and for the whole thing to be a real experience, they chose a high vista overlooking the valley and ocean in carmel, california as the place to tie the knot. and man, was it a great choice.
from the sweet words they shared at the alter to every snuggle and kiss in the trees as we made our way down the vista to their reception, it was so clear these two couldn’t wait another day to become husband and wife!
i have been to carmel, my grand father actually lives just about 10 miles down the road from the venue (yes, i got to see him and spend a few days in town to enjoy the sun and sand!) but i have never photographed a wedding this close to the ocean and HECK, it brought out all the ocean sea breeze goodness i never knew i wanted!! these two are from denver, but this mountain top was very different from the rockies!!
something about this wonderful day was that everything was special and meaningful, the day was ful of little bits of “we chose this because of this” every location, flower, cuff link, ect meant something more to these two, i could go on and on about the small details britany and kyle thought of! (and for being half way across the country while planning, it was extra impressive!)
i am soooo sorry but i really jst couldn’t get enough of these two! we spent time after the ceremony up at the alter with just them two, they soaked up all the excitement of being MARRIED and we slowly made our way down the mountain through the trees and took advantage of every moment.
of course their cake was delicious (and so was all the incredible food, ill share all that with the whole gallery!) and every little thing was a boho dream!
and we danceddd the night away!! such an incredible wedding in literally every way, so beyond grateful to have spent the week in carmel, california for such a great day! so thankful for britany+kyle and for being a part of their day!
