what a truly unique wedding day hiyori + casey shared! i have never been so lucky to capture such an intimate event, full of so much love and light. their day was spent at della terra mountain chateau, in estes park, colorado and the snow sprinkled down all day and night long!! hiyori + casey live in los angeles, so the snow was a surprise and a super special addition to their colorado mountain wedding!
i didn’t get to meet this sweet couple before the wedding day, but we communicated all through the weeks ahead and there is always a lil nervousness, but these two had every detail figured out and worked with all their vendors so well! from the beginning of chatting with hiyori + casey i could see the love they share, and the excitement they had about their incredible wedding day! one of the best parts about their day is that they wanted just a handful of incredibly important people there and kept the whole ceremony and reception to under twenty people. intimate wedding days are so special, and there was something just so warm and comfortable and real about watching two people who are so incredibly excited to get married as they tie the knot up at the altar with their few close and most important people watching. it was unique, and so so wonderful.
although this wedding wasn’t exactly “traditional” these two made sure not to skip out on the important things, like a gorgeous venue (della terra mountain chateau), stunning flowers from rowes flowers, a delicious lemon lavender cheesecake from you need a pie, and of course, a rockstar photo and video team! they made sure to have everything that makes a wedding unique to the couple, and done well, and had the perfect wedding on a mini scale!
i adored every bit of this wedding day, hiyori even had the most gorgeous shoes, and they both had a pair of snow boots to stomp around during couples photos! it was perfect in every way and loved share this beautiful day with these two!
