morgan + zachs wedding day started like any other, coffee, mimosas, prepping all the little things in the hotel room while they waited to bus over to the venue. the rooms were filled with simple joys and laughter, there didn’t seem to be any lingering stress or nervousness. just excitement. I could feel how calm morgan was while she did her makeup (she’s a queen at it too if anyone needs someone for their big day!)
everyone had so much time to get ready, the reception area was decorated and all ready for the guests, all the chairs were lined up for the ceremony, and zach + morgan finished up all the final touches for their first look.
i snuck some time with morgan while we waited, she was just too dang flawless to ignore. one of those brides people just couldn’t take their eyes off all evening.
of course morgans father had to sneak in a little first look before zach (dads first right!) and it was the first tears (of many) that i shed throughout the day. dad moments really get to me jeez.
morgan + zach bared the chilly day for their first look (thankfuly!) and it was incredible! so snowy and bright and the sun just fled over them, i think it was trying to keep them warm because GOODNESS it was cold (but worthhhh it!)
the ceremony was full of warm light and so very cozy. morgan + zach shared sweet vows and lit a unity candle to officially tie the knot!
morgan put so much creativity and work into this wedding, it was full of simple and thoughtful design (including her bridesmaids lantern bouquets!) and it was so wonderful to photograph a wedding that was unique and so very gorgeous!
AND she designed and printed her invite suites all on her own! LIKE WHAT? (seriously lemme know if you need some help on your big day, morgan can tackle anything!)
of course after the ceremony we snuck out one last time and caught just a glimpse of the chilly sunset. morgan wore a leather jacket (YAS.) and braved the cold for some last snuggly photos before they danced the night away, it may have been december 8th in omaha nebraska but these two definitely stayed warm all day.
it was a wedding that is difficult to put into words. so special and unique and full of little moments and details that really showed morgan + zachs relationship. i was lucky enough to get to know these two in the months leading up to the big day and this was one of those days were i felt like more than the photographer, it was so sweet to see these two get married!
